Earth’s moon could be responsible for forming stem cells.
Earth’s moon could also reproduce chromosomes, for tissue loss due to injuries or to reproduce organs such as lost teeth.
When regeneration of lost tissue occurs, the moon may grow.
It could be that each planet represents a tissue and its moons may be for its stem cells, but a planet with many moons, could be due to the classes of bacteria and stem cells for leukocytes.
